All along the 4 mile Ute Trail are amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and alpine tundra scenery. The entire trail is above the tree line starting at over 11,000 feet and wildlife in the area including big horn sheep and elk are in abundance so we kept an eye out.  While I was busy taking photos Cami and Cat explored the area and came across a group of Marmots who were apparently more interesting then this delightful sunset. The smoke that enveloped the mountains and valleys below added to the mood of this evening as the sunset approached.
