East Boston is such an amazing place, I’ve been coming here for years to take photos of the city. Over the past 15 years its gone from a very old industrial area to a hub of urban revitalization. Where their once where old decrepit piers there are now new apartments and shopping. What has not change are the stunning views of downtown Boston, the custom house and Long Wharf.

This timing for these photos is so tricky, you need an amazing sunset on a clear day. You need very little to know boat traffic, and you have to find just the right location. This photo gives you all of that and more. The entire sky was alive with color, as my luck would have it their where no boats blocking my photo. The old city is totally clear and alive with life.
